'Tis Time for "Torture," Princess makes a return in its official Season 2, and the audience has all the reasons to get excited. The announcement was made along with a new visual as the show announces a premiere date of January 2026.
Season two picks up where the delightful and witty tale left off and enthralled people earlier this year in 2024. With more rounds of magical "torture" on the way, audiences get to anticipate another helping of warm humor and delicious temptations.
The new season promises even more of the light-hearted but tense fight scenes between the kidnapper and the Princess. Season 2, released in January 2026, will have the same wit and alternative story-telling that viewers fell under the spell of in the first season.

The anime 'Tis Time for “Torture,” Princess first aired in January 2024 and consisted of 12 episodes. The anime was produced by Studio Pine Jam and directed by Yoko Kanamori. Kazuyuki Fudeyazu provided the series composition. Masaru Yokoyama created the music while Satoshi Furuhashi and Toshiya Kono provided the character designs.
Its light-hearted tone and good character work by the production team played a key role in keeping the show unique.
'Tis Time for "Torture," Princess (Hime-sama “Gomon” no Jikan desu) was based on a manga by Robinson Haruhara and illustrated by Hirakei. It began serial publication on Shonen Jump+ in April 2019. Up through October 2024, the series was released in sixteen volumes.

Even as war continues raging between the Imperial Army and the Hellhorde, the Princess herself gets captured and imprisoned tight. What kind of torture will she endure? Fluffy freshly made toast! Season 2 will take the comedic interactions between the kidnappers and the Princess even deeper into the world of great food and hospitality-based torture. The world will be even more fleshed out by additional characters and storylines introducing new humor as well.
Given the success of season one, the anticipation for a satisfying blend of the show's fantasy, humor, and emotion is great.
