The highly anticipated Kingdom Season 6 anime has been officially announced and is scheduled to premiere in October 2025. The first teaser visual has also been revealed, building excitement for the return of one of Japan’s top historical anime series.
Produced by Studio Pierrot and Studio Signpost, the upcoming season will continue the intense battle between the Qin and Zhao armies, one of the most important arcs in the story. The new visual includes the tagline "The Inheritor of Qi Wang’s Spear", teasing a dramatic new chapter in the war saga.

Kingdom is based on the manga by Yasuhisa Hara and is set during China’s Warring States Period (475–221 BCE). It follows Xin (Shin), a war orphan with dreams of becoming the greatest general in history, serving under Ying Zheng, the man destined to become China’s first emperor.
Over 110 million copies of the manga have been sold worldwide. In Fall 2025, VIZ Media will finally begin publishing the English version of the manga, coinciding with the release of Season 6.
