The wait is finally over! Netflix has formally confirmed that Devil May Cry Season 2 is in production—and fans can't be happier. Season one introduced us to unapologetic action, snappy animation, and the one-and-only Dante, our demon slayer. Now, Season 2 is ready to raise the bar.
Based on Capcom's hit video game series, Devil May Cry chronicles demon hunter Dante's checkered history as he battles demons. The frantic pace of its action sequences, immersive lore, and polished animation helped Netflix's anime series hook viewers. It was a hit among gamers and anime enthusiasts.
Season 2 came out in considerable fanfare. Although the release date has not been made public yet, revealing the news in itself has created enormous excitement for anime enthusiasts. If you enjoyed stylish violence and banter in Season 1, get ready for even more of the latter.
Search for returning familiar characters, new enemies, and even deeper tales. Will Vergil reappear, and Lady as well? What new demonic enemies can we expect? One thing is for sure—Dante's not done yet.
