Titanfall 3 May Be Real: New Leaks Bring Fresh Hope for Fans

First-person shooter fans have been waiting for Titanfall 3 for years, and now new leaks suggest their patience might finally pay off. Two reliable Apex Legends leakers claim that Respawn Entertainment is secretly working on the next installment in the beloved Titanfall franchise.

Although Respawn has shifted much of its focus to Apex Legends and the successful Star Wars Jedi games, many fans have never given up on the dream of a Titanfall 3. The franchise has had a rocky history, but its impact—especially the story campaign of Titanfall 2—still resonates strongly with players.

The Rise and Fall of Titanfall

The original Titanfall launched in 2014 as an Xbox One exclusive. It stood out with its fast-paced multiplayer but lacked a single-player mode, which disappointed some fans. Its sequel, Titanfall 2, arrived in 2016 with a full single-player campaign and released on multiple platforms. Unfortunately, it launched in a crowded season, squeezed between Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and Battlefield 1. Despite its strong campaign, Titanfall 2 didn't get the attention it deserved.

Over the years, fans have constantly asked Respawn for a third game. However, EA has repeatedly denied any plans for Titanfall 3, and the future of the series remained uncertain.

Leakers Claim Titanfall 3 is in Development

Now, hope has returned. Apex Legends leaker YOROTSUKI shared an image of the Titanfall 3 logo on Twitter, revealing that the “secret game” they hinted at before is indeed Titanfall 3. According to the post, the game is scheduled for an official reveal at The Game Awards 2025, with a planned release in 2026.

Another trusted source, Osvaldatore, backed up this claim, adding more weight to the leak. If this is true, it means Titanfall 3 could have been in development for some time, possibly alongside Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.

Can Respawn Handle Another Big Project?

Respawn currently has three internal teams: one handling Apex Legends, one working on the Star Wars Jedi series, and one focused on VR. If Titanfall 3 is real, it’s likely being developed by the Apex Legends team, as both games share the same universe and gameplay style.

Launching in Fall or Holiday 2026 would be ideal for a big FPS title, and revealing the game at The Game Awards would generate massive hype.

Final Thoughts

While none of this is confirmed, the buzz around Titanfall 3 is stronger than ever. If the leaks are accurate, fans might finally get the sequel they’ve been hoping for. Until then, all eyes will be on The Game Awards in December 2025, where dreams may finally become reality.
